Fluval Nano Fine Foam Pad Filter Media fits inside the Fluval Nano Filter to trap small sediments and other debris for optimal mechanical filtration. Debris like fish waste, uneaten food and other material can cause harmful toxins like ammonia and phosphate to build up in your aquarium. The foam pad has a pore size that facilitates efficient water flow with less clogging, providing long-lasting filtration for cleaner, clearer water.

• For use with the Fluval Nano Internal Filter (not included).

• As dirt collects on the Fine Foam, the cartridge will gradually become clogged. Water flow slows and will eventually stop. Periodically rinse the Fine Foam in cold running water to remove large particles. Replace the mechanical Fine Foam every 21 days or as needed.

• Separate the Fluval Nano Filter Case from the Motor Housing.

• Remove Foam Cartridge from the Filter Case.

• Remove the Fine Foam Pad and replace with the new one.

• Replace Foam Cartridge in Filter Case.

• Reattach the Filter Case to the Motor Housing.
